This is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity for a very bright, graduate-educated PA/EA to join a small team supporting the business and personal life of a fascinating entrepreneurial philanthropist and business leader with a range of interests from Art and Education to Retail, Luxury Brands and Property.

Based in the principal’s home office in Holland Park working alongside another PA.

The Principal has huge energy and works at 100 miles an hour, so you need to be used to working at speed, and are quick to pick things up.

The candidate MUST be a very bright grad, either with a couple of years of office experience or someone with more experience – it's all about the candidate.

** An interest in Education or Art would be good for the role **

Some working from home will be possible, but the role will mostly require working from the family’s home office in Holland Park.

Job Description
In addition to the typical daily tasks required of a PA, shadowing and networking opportunities are available if the candidate has a particular passion for one or several of the sectors in which the principals work. The Principal is passionate about personal development and will give his PA every opportunity to get involved in any sector that is particularly interesting to them.

Daily Responsibilities:
Working alongside the existing PA, sharing responsibilities to co-ordinate email correspondence, Board-level meetings, business trips, and travel for the busy principal
• Managing competing workstreams and deadlines between the principal’s global retail brand and Trusteeship at a national arts institution and other trusteeships and business interests
• Scheduling various meetings and appointments as necessary to support the principal’s personal life
• Collaborate with a wider team (household staff) of 7 across London and the country to co-ordinate travel between locations, ensure both households are well-stocked, and any other tasks as required
• Maintaining and streamlining IT systems and equipment across the office, liaising with external IT consultants where required
• Managing and maintaining the household insurance register, with a particular responsibility for artwork
• Liaising with external contractors for general household maintenance (gardeners, window cleaners, etc.)
• Overseeing household staff in their daily tasks
• Occasional organisation of parties and entertainment
• Completing any other tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the house
• Support with the renovation of a Grade I Listed House: scheduling meetings with architects, project management, and various contractors; very occasional travel to the country to assist with the project
• Occasional support for an educational charity if the candidate is interested in the sector
• Potential for shadowing opportunities to explore interests in retail, property, art, and educational philanthropy
Candidate
• Good degree and academics, must be academically bright, switched on and able to pick things up very quickly
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, striking the appropriate tone as necessary
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong knowledge of IT maintenance and general troubleshooting
• Strong working knowledge of MacOS and Office 365
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and workstreams and tight deadlines, often reprioritising tasks at short notice
